Alfa Hotel is located on a quiet street facing some residential and commercial properties. The hotel price includes a daily buffet breakfast which had a range of continental options as well as some Burmese style options. The hotel rooms and facilities were, like most things in Yangon, ageing but everything was clean so it was a comfortable stay.

Thamada Hotel is located on a main street which was quite busy for Yangon standards. It is conveniently located and is walking distance to some supermarkets and restaurants.
The hotel price included a buffet breakfast in 365 restaurant which was both generous and tasty. We would choose to stay here again.
